Ingredients for the Smoked Mackerel Pate with Lemon

  • 2 large boneless fillets of smoked mackerel

  • 8 oz./ 225g soft cheese or natural fromage frais

  • 2 lemons

  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions: How to Make the Smoked Mackerel Pate with Lemon

  • Flake the smoked mackerel fillets into a mixing bowl.
  • Squeeze in the juice of one lemon.
  • Add the cream cheese or natural fromage frais to the bowl.
  • Grind a generous amount of black pepper over the ingredients.
